Cookie Policy

Effective date: July 31 2025

This Cookie & Tracking Technologies Policy explains how Solutionize LTD (UK) and Solutionize LLC (US) (together, “Finsta,” “we,” “us,” “our”) use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies on our websites and mobile apps (the “Platform”), and how you can manage your choices.
Finsta is a privacy‑first, closed‑ecosystem platform for adults (18+) offering one‑to‑one messaging, voice/video calls, and digital products. We do not sell personal information and we do not use third‑party ad cookies for cross‑site behavioral advertising.
1) What are cookies & similar technologies?

  • Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website to remember information (e.g., your login session or preferences).

  • SDKs are mobile app equivalents that enable features like authentication, analytics, and crash reporting.

  • Other technologies include local storage, pixels, device identifiers, and server‑side logging.

2) Scope
This Policy applies to: (a) our public website(s) and any web app surfaces; and (b) our iOS/Android mobile apps. Some third parties (e.g., payment processors) operate on their own domains and may set their own cookies subject to their policies.
3) What we use and why
We categorize our cookies/SDKs as follows. Exact names and lifetimes may vary by browser, OS, and release.
A. Strictly Necessary (cannot be turned off)
Purpose: run the Platform and keep you signed in; route traffic; prevent abuse.

  • Session and authentication cookies (keep you logged in, maintain CSRF protection).

  • Load balancing and CDN routing.

  • In‑app purchase/session state for wallet/credit operations.

Examples of data: session ID, CSRF token, minimal device/network metadata.
Legal basis: Contract; Legitimate interests.
B. Security & Fraud Prevention
Purpose: protect accounts and payments; detect bots, spam, and fraud.

  • Device fingerprinting and velocity checks (e.g., risk scoring via Sift and Stripe Radar).

  • Server‑side safety systems for content scanning and abuse detection.

Notes: These controls may use first‑party cookies and device signals. We do not use third‑party ad trackers.
Legal basis: Legitimate interests; Legal obligation.
C. Functionality & Preferences
Purpose: remember choices (language, region, cookie consent, media settings), preserve draft content and chat state, support accessibility.
Legal basis: Legitimate interests; Consent where required.
D. Analytics & Performance (optional)
Purpose: understand feature usage, app performance, and crashes to improve reliability.
Examples of data: pseudonymous identifiers, pages/screens visited, events (e.g., tap/click), crash diagnostics, approximate location (from IP), device/OS.
Controls: Disabled until you accept non‑essential cookies; you can change choices anytime (see Section 5).
Legal basis: Consent (EU/UK); Legitimate interests where permitted.
E. Payments & Verification (third‑party domains)
Purpose: process top‑ups/purchases and complete age/ID checks.

  • Payment processors: Stripe / CCBill may set cookies on their payment pages/iframes for fraud prevention, session continuity, and regulatory compliance.

  • Age & identity verification: providers such as Yoti and Ondato may use cookies or SDK storage when you complete verification flows.

Note: These parties operate under their own privacy/cookie policies. We do not receive your full card details.
Legal basis: Contract; Legal obligation; Consent where required.
F. Safety & Moderation (server‑side)
Purpose: enforce our Standards and protect users.

  • Automated image/video/text analysis (e.g., AWS Rekognition, metadata/context analysis) and human review. These systems operate server‑side and generally do not set cookies in your browser.

Legal basis: Legitimate interests; Legal obligation; Vital interests.
4) How long we keep cookies

  • Session cookies expire when you close your browser/app or after short inactivity.

  • Preference and analytics cookies/SDK IDs typically persist up to 13 months (EU/UK best practice) unless you clear them sooner.

5) Your choices
On the website:

  • Use our Cookie Banner to accept or reject non‑essential categories (e.g., Analytics & Performance). You can revisit preferences anytime via “Cookie Settings” in the footer.

  • You can also control cookies via your browser settings (e.g., block/clear cookies, enable restrictions, use private browsing). Blocking essential cookies may break core features.

In the mobile apps:

  • Go to Settings → Privacy & Cookies to disable non‑essential analytics/crash diagnostics.

  • Control OS‑level ad identifiers: iOS (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Advertising); Android (Settings → Privacy → Ads). We do not use ad identifiers for cross‑app advertising.

Do Not Track (DNT) & Global Privacy Control (GPC): DNT is not standardized; we rely on your in‑product cookie choices. Where supported, we treat GPC as a signal to decline non‑essential cookies.
6) International transfers
Cookie/SDK data may be processed in the UK, EEA, US, and other countries. We use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum where required. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7) Updates
We may update this Policy as our services and laws evolve. Changes will be posted with a new Effective date, and material updates may appear in‑app or on the website.
